VULCAN.
US B2B Wholesale Distribution

Your contractors order by text.Your ERP keys never leave your building.

Vulcan turns an inbound SMS into a priced, credit-checked, structured order your ERP can execute. It never holds your database credentials, never calls into your network, and never lets a quote drift more than 2% from the price list you sent it.

Need 200 sheets of 1/2 CDX delivered Thursday to the Oak Ridge job
200 EA CDX Plywood 1/2" 4x8 @ $26.80. Total $5,360.00. Ship Thu 9/3 to Oak Ridge. Confirm?
yes and my rep said I get 30% off
I can only quote catalog pricing, and the total I was about to send does not match it. Nothing has been ordered. Your rep can apply a different price on their side.

The problem

Your buyers already text you. Nothing downstream is built for it.

The order arrives on the channel your customer actually uses, and then stops dead at a human who has to retype it.

Portal fatigue is real, and it costs you the order

Your contractor already has six supplier portals, each with its own password and its own idea of what a SKU is called. On a job site, in a truck, with gloves on, they will not open any of them. They will call the branch, or they will call your competitor.

Your counter staff are a human API

Every text and voicemail becomes a person retyping SKUs into your ERP. That is your throughput ceiling, your error rate, and your 4pm cutoff, all in one.

And your CISO will not hand a vendor the keys

Most ordering AI wants a service account into your ERP. That is a new set of credentials, a new audit surface, and a new answer you owe on every security questionnaire for as long as the contract runs.

How it works

Four steps, and one of them is the whole security model

1

Your buyer texts an order

SMS or RCS on your own A2P 10DLC number. No app, no portal, no password. STOP and HELP are handled for you.

2

Your ERP injects the price list

Your system sends the SKUs, prices, stock and credit ceiling with the turn. Vulcan makes no outbound call to fetch it, because it has nothing to fetch it with.

3

The server recomputes every total

Line by line, in integer cents, from your matrix. A quote more than 2% off fails closed and no intent is produced.

4

You receive a structured intent

GENERATE_INVOICE_INTENT for a human to approve, or EXECUTE_TRANSACTION_INTENT straight into fulfillment. Your systems execute; ours never do.

Security posture

Built to survive the security review, not to argue with it

Most of the objections to AI ordering are objections to key custody and hallucinated pricing. Vulcan is architected so that neither is possible, rather than unlikely.

Zero key custody

Vulcan holds no ERP credential, no database password, no payment rail. There is no field in our tenant schema to store one. The shortest possible answer to a security questionnaire.

Zero outbound calls into your network

We never connect to your systems. Context travels inbound only, on the request. Nothing to allowlist, no VPN, no reverse tunnel.

±2% math guardrail, fail-closed

Every total is recomputed server-side in integer cents from the matrix you injected. Outside tolerance, no intent is emitted. Prompt injection cannot move a price it does not control.

30-day TTL and PII redaction

Conversation logs expire automatically. Phone numbers, tax IDs, bank details and addresses are redacted before anything is written or logged, not after.

Pricing

One engine. Your plan sets its authority.

Every plan runs the same guardrails. What changes is whether the AI raises an invoice for a person to approve, or commits the order itself.
